We had a great time and the facility, organizers, and location were great! Plus they included a $65 ticket for each team (up to six) for the bluegrass festival which was great.

I got the impression that that were going to have this in a field, but people could opt for an RV spot. Did it work out that way, or everyone had full sites? I actually signed up for this and then dropped it. Glad to hear it worked out for everyone.

I just didn't want to burn the extra vacation day. If it was a Sat/Sun I would have gone.

As far as I know everyone had their own Camper/RV site. Some had sewer, others did not. But I think everyone had water and a minimum of 30amp service (everyone was given a 110v adapter if needed). All the sites seemed to be level.

The location was, IMO, about as good as it gets.

Friday night after the cooks meeting we drove out to a restaurant called the Blue Heron. Yelp said it was only 3 miles away, and it probably was as the crow flies, but it took about 15 minutes to get there. Decent Seafood joint right on the water. We got the All-You-Can-Eat crab legs. I hope that place is still in business next week. Then on Saturday we were talking to some locals and they said the best food in the area comes from the on-site restaurant there at the campground. We didn't even know it was there. Go figure.

It's over 200 miles between Greencastle and Lanexa. I'm not sure asking Lanexa to change dates because of that distance is realistic.
