Had a few banana peppers and a few jalapeno peppers from the garden and thought I would try to find a refrigerator pickle recipe for them. Well there is such a thing so I made a batch.

Clean and chop up the peppers and smash a clove of garlic ready for the pot.

Get the pot boiling with 1 cup each vinegar and water, 2 Tbsp sugar, 1 Tbsp salt and the smashed garlic clove. Once boiling, turn off the heat and add the peppers.

Let sit for about 8 minutes before transferring the peppers to a jar and cover with pickling liquid.
