Did some pork steaks on the Akorn Kamado for tonights dinner. I tried something new and marinated them in Zesty Italian dressing for about 8 hours. I then seasoned them with sea salt, fresh cracked pepper, and my go to Everglades BBQ RUB. I cooked them direct heat @ 500 probably 4 minutes per side. The family raved about them and said they were the best flavored pork steaks I have made so far to date. I was also very impressed with the flavor that the italian dressing added to them.
