I ordered one of Lone Star Grillz fire management baskets to put in the firebox. I'm hoping this cuts my wood usage and keeps a hotter fire...... especially since that it is what it's for. Anyone using one?

How do you like your pitmaker? I always thought they built a good looking pit...pricey, but very nice. Don’t seem them much on here for some reason

I have the smaller one in my Shirley 24x36. Works great in it. The cooker really doesn’t need it, but I like how it keeps everything in the center.

I've been using one for better part of a year. Makes it really easy to keep a coal bed.

I love it. One of the best stick burners on the market IMO. The Hexagon shape gives it much more room for the 3 racks than a round smoker. And while the back is not insulated, the doors are. Holds great temps. I don't know why they aren't on here more.
