I like mine A LOT.
Same here. I'm holding out for Austin Smoke Works to start producing the backyard model they keep teasing me with. 250 gallon is just too big. They claim even temps and no back draft when you open the firebox door because the draft is so strong. Lots of bbq joints use these including my favorite...La BBQ. John Lewis is a guy I trust and I believe he knows more than most. John and his dad started ASW years ago.looking at 3 of them plut a 24 X 40 offset too
never had one and always wanted one .
Ummmm……. Dude’s already had more Nice smokers than most people will Ever have……..
I did not realize that.
Well, maybe some new person can find value in my response?

Not lately. I've got a lot of cookers of every type. Not in a hurry. They were really close to starting the backyard model when covid hit. Then the orders for big cookers just started coming in and here we are... still waiting.Have you talked to them? Feels like it’s been forever they’ve been saying a backyard model is coming

Full disclosure...I've never had anything else.(stick burner wise)never had one and always wanted one .
We always forget Jambo. Pretty reasonable $2800-$3500. We know you love your golf cart wheels and SS shelf.

Looking for a new stick burner and does not have to be a reverse flow but looking for something different . I like the looks of the Workhorse and wonder if yo guys can steer me with some other not so big pit builders ? Thanks

I'm not a fan of the tuning plates the 24" LSG's use and I originally wanted a 24" but leveled with myself that it was more smoker than I needed.
As mentioned I really, really like my LSG and have zero desire to replace it but if I was looking again today I would have to look very hard at an Outlaw Smokers Patio
