My sister, who is a traveling nurse, was getting ready to buy a Weber OTG when she saw my Baby Bullet Smoker thread. We talked over her needs:

  1. Compact enough to easily transport in her RV
  2. Charcoal, not gas
  3. Grill for three people
  4. Smoker
  5. Moderately priced
A Mini-WSM is perfect. It'll be a bit tight to grill anything big for three people, but it's possible.

So, I found a local source for $6.48 SJ cooking grates, and just ordered a SJG and a Vasconia 32 Qt. Tamale Steamer to start the build for her.

Next is to see about a Marty Leach handle for it.

Can't go wrong with THAT level of awesomeness!

The stuff is awesome... I got top handles for my kettle and WSM when he first started doing them...

Did you see my entry in the Pork Chops Master Cut Throwdown?

Can't wait to see the finished mini-WSM. Did you get the Columbian made tamale pot and not the China made one?
