Well now. There's a Throw Down happening right now just waiting for cooks to enter. It's a breakfast themed one, using BBQ meats. So far we have an outstanding Breakfast Taco by Dauvis and an equally amazing Sausage Fatty Gravy Biscuit by Oifmarine2003, and then some fried brisket.

Now, to my cook. A year or so ago I decided to fry up some brisket point slices in beef fat just as if it were bacon and had some fried eggs and toast with it. Didn't take pics for that, but a few folks were interested. So, I did it again last night.
We have,
Brisket smoked on the Cajun Bandit, sliced point...
Fried in beef fat in the De Rigueur cast iron skillet...
And an egg or two, also in the beef fat...
To be served as so...
Love breakfast for dinner. It was pretty tasty.
