So I'm still pretty new at this but I feel like I'm starting to earn my stripes. I hosted a party this weekend cooking everything on my 2 UDS's a a weber 22.5". One of my guest, who true Q'er as well, refer to my grill as a "wee-ber" have I been blaspheming calling my grill by the wrong name? I always thought they were Web-ers

You've got it right, and it sounds like your guest is one of those jacka$$es that needs to correct everyone. My advice is to let him run around calling it a weeee - ber at a comp and get laughed at.

It could be a regional dialect. When I moved from CA to NC I had lots of giggles over the way some words are pronounced here. Then came to find out that I was the one with the "accent".
I call mine a "grill", all 13 of them.
