Hunsaker customer service?

Got a question for y’all! I placed an order for a Hunsaker smoker last week and have sent two emails inquiring about an approximate ship date but haven’t gotten a response. I thought I had heard that Mark had good customer service but I haven’t seen it. I am trying to plan a trip and am trying to work around the delivery date but it’s kinda hard when you get no response from them. Every day that goes by the trip gets closer and tickets get more expensive I understand that an email can get overlooked but two? Just a little frustrated to say the least.

What’s y’all’s experience with Hunsaker?
 
I would try giving their number a call. Last time I placed an order about a year ago they had a decent lead time, unless something has changed for them it might take a while to get it. I understand wanting to make sure it won’t be delivered while you’re away and all but if I had to guess, probably gonna be a little bit.

Yeah, I guess I could but figured an email would at least get answered. That’s fine if it will be a while, I was just going by their mention of around a 2 week lead time for smokers on their website. I just don’t want it to get delivered while I am away for 2-3 weeks.

Yeah...that would be off putting for me too. I work in a secure environment and can’t always have my phone on me, so I rely on email a lot. I recently sent M-Grills 2 emails. Never got a response, so I decided I’d never own one. I understand being behind and not enough help, so I always give at least a week between emails. If someone can’t answer 2 emails over a 2 week period, then you obviously don’t need or want my business. That being said, I’m surprised to hear that from Hunsaker.
 
Mark is a phone call guy. Give him a ring. He's one of the nicest guys you can't talk to.
 
I met Mark and his Son a couple of years back at the STL Bash. These folks are first class. If he did not get back with you it's because of a SNAFU in communication for whatever reason.

Yep! I called and like y’all say, he is a first class kinda guy. He gave me more info than I called for but it was good info and I am thankful that he did. I tried logging into my account here yesterday to give an update but for some reason I couldn’t log on. Not real sure why the emails were unanswered but he responded to me via PM and I think he may look into it.
