Whats a good place to stay nearby the event?

there's a Super 8 right off the thruway, its not the greatest. Newburgh or across the bridge in Poughkeepsie is the next closest and you have your choice. Unles you want to spring for the Mohonk House

We've stayed at the Super 8. Not bad at all. Clean but not updated.

well not right next door but I think the Super 8 is were the out of town talent stays

It is however, next door to the DEC Region 3 HQ, better hide any of that illegal firewood!

20 minutes from the Thruway, which on a weekend in New Paltz can be 45 minutes from the fairgrounds easily.........

if you take the back way out of comp you can be in Newburgh and find a good hotel in about a 30 minute ride. About same ride as the Microtel was last week
