Just pulled a brisket off the cooker. Wrapped in butcher paper and a towel and put in a cooler, how long can I keep it there before I need to refrigerate? Going to have it for lunch tomorrow
 
Yep. If the cooler was pre-heated and stuffed with towels you could probably go 5 hours, but any longer is taking a risk.
 
At least 4 hours...and probably more when tightly wrapped...no outside influences affecting the meat...
