Hello from central Alberta.

Came for the ummm...."lengthy" shock....UDS thread, stayed for the rest.:-D

New to smoking meat, have used wood chip packets in the grill but I don't see it as the same thing. With winter coming to a close soon and -30C temps hopefully a thing of the past, I can finally kick the garden tractor out of the shop and get that UDS finished.:-D

Should be an interesting summer.

Welcome! Native Texan here, always find Canada BBQ interesting. Since moving to Mass, have not adapted well to cooler climate, which narrowed my cooking months. Look forward to your posts, especially those concerning cooking in cold weather.
