CATEGORY DESCRIPTION - READ BEFORE ENTERING

Since I made the winning dish on opening day of trout season, why not a fish/seafood throwdown -- anything from the water -- freshwater, saltwater, home-caught, store-bought, fish, crustacean, bivalve, cephalopod, whatever . . . just as long as it's grilled or smoked.

You may submit entries that are cooked from Friday 4/28/17 through the entry submission deadline of 12pm (NOON), Central US Time on Monday 5/15/17.

Entry pictures must be submitted by 12 p.m. (NOON) Central US Time on Monday 5/15/17

I've got an idea. It should guarantee me another Top 20* finish. May involve a smoker a grill a flat top and a cast iron skillet. And Green Chile. Neat category selection.

My first and very humble entry.....Green Lightning Shrimp:

A paste of cilantro, scallions. jalapenos, garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil, and lime juice to marinade the shrimp - some reserved for dipping.

Grilled hot and fast on a BGE,, and it rocks!
