Contest Results First Sanctioned Cometition completed - and thanks

Had an amazing time on our first sanctioned BBQ competition called BBQ on the bypass in Langley ,BC this last weekend.

With a total of 18 competitors we were humbled to receive a few ribbons.

2nd for black box
5th for Pork Butt
7th for Brisket

I am now convinced we are totally hooked and need to get a second job to pay for this going forward.

I would also like to thank this forum and all those that have assisted me with your advice, ideas and support - you all rock.

In previous years, Angie's events have had a "black box" category where teams are given a few mystery ingredients, and have to use them in an dish (think Chopped)
