Found this on Craigslist:

For sale: One slightly used 22.5 weber smoker. Bought new last year for $400 and only used it four times.

He wants $225 and its a 230 miles round trip from me.

I don't really need it, but when has that every stopped any of us from adding to our collection.

What to do?

LOL at bobaftt jumping in!!! I like Rob's idea of meeting 1/2 way, or close to 1/2
way. I bought a Lang last year about this time. I was in the area anyway that
weekend, but it was going to be about 100 miles (RT) out of the way. They came
about 20 my direction (40 RT) and met me. Seemed like a nice give-n-take...

I emailed him when I found it. It was listed on Sunday, so I don't know if he still has it or not. I'll keep you posted.

Check and see if there are any Brethren closer who might be able to pick it up for you and store it until you are able to get it yourself.

Why does that idea sound so familiar? That's how I got WSM number 5.

Thanks Divemaster!

Looks like it is a go - He's actually right off the Interstate and a little closer than I thought. $200 and I going to pick it up Saturday morning. Pron to follow.:-D

You be stylin' now. Great score. Even with the gas it's still a hell of a price. Nice Job :clap2::thumb::clap2::thumb:
