Based on R2Egg2Q's earlier post http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/showthread.php?t=151456 I planned on duplicating the plate, because it looked so good.
I am not a big Chicken guy so when different ideas come about on the forum, I look forward to trying them.
So, I got the Medium running at about 475° on RO with an apple chunk.
I placed a pan on the plate-setter, containing broccoli, artichoke hearts, carrots, red potatoes, pearl onions and brussels sprouts along with one can of chicken broth.
I cut up the roaster and seasoned it with SM Sweet & Spicy, I also made a compound butter to place under the skin to keep things wet...lol.
On the egg over the veggies!
I also took the time to make some of JMSetzler's Artisan Bread on my Small. My eight year old assitant, everyone should have one, they work for cheap!
Photo of the dish after resting the meat in the same pan with the veggies, the smell was great!
My two loaves of bread, not as brown as I thought it should have been but it was delicious.
And the final plated product, not bad for a chicken dinner!
Thanks for lookin' at my cookin'.
