Not exactly bbq, but the heat (94F) compelled me to cook part of last nite's dinner outdoors, though it would normally be a stovetop and oven dish.
I did cook the pasta and tomato sauce on the stove, but the oven part - outside. I thinly sliced each chicken breast into 3 pieces, then set up my breading station: potato starch/AP Flour, egg, Lefty's. Lefty's is a bit unconventional for Chicken Parm, but it's good stuff -
Rather than pan frying, out onto the Blackstone they go -
And instead of Ziti, I used what was on hand - Cavatappi. Ready for the oven -
The oven is the Goldens' -
We are done -
Dinner is ready -
I kept the kitchen somewhat cooler so the a/c didn't have to compensate, but used the stove, the Blackstone and the Goldens' to prepare dinner.
We have plenty of leftovers, so no cooking of any sort today.
Thanks for checking in on a hot day dinner. Hope you're all staying cool.
Out to the pool !!
Regards,
