The Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau is putting on a non sanctioned event the first weekend of May if anyone is interested in cooking in Ohio.
We cooked in it last year, and had a great time. It is pretty laid back, and is for a good cause. The money generated goes to Tusc. County hospice so it is a clean event, meaning there is not supposed to be any drinking or tobacco use while there. There are about 10 teams signed up at this time. The link to sign up is www.campmeigsbbq.org for those interested.
There are also spots open for vending if you would rather do that, and there are opportunities for sponsorship if you have a business and would like to get some advertising. Last year they had a vendor area with some bbq supplies, smokers, etc. The turn out was pretty good last year, and they are expecting more people there this year. All the info you need should be on the website.
