I saw this little guy for sale at a local nursery/patio store and it caught my attention. https://www.campchef.com/woodwind-wifi-20.html?k_cca=prospecting&gclid=CjwKCAiArIH_BRB2EiwALfbH1MKPWsANMitmexHHm_XI3coK0JlUAZw1ZA7VpmcZ3iQlS_Bv_JV20xoCb-sQAvD_BwE

The price tag is high at $600, but I've seen it online for $499. It appears to be much more refined than my GMG Davy Crocket. This CC appears to be slightly longer than the Davy Crockett and it has a built in shelf for additional capacity. My DC is getting tired and leaky and kinda of kicking the idea around either selling the DC or passing it down to one of my family members. Just wondering if anyone specifically has or used the Woodwind 20 and what are your thoughts? I still have (and keeping) my MAK 1, but I like to use a smaller cooker as I'm usually just cooking for me nowadays. Thanks.

That looks like a fun little pellet rig. Lots of bells and whistles for the money. Can a small unit like that hold temps steady?

Justin @ Baby Back Maniac just recently did a video reviewing the Woodwind.

Overall he seems to really like it and says hes been using it for roughly 9 months.

Thanks for the heads up on the review. The review is for the much larger model, but I'm hoping the model 20 has many of the same features. I'll have to do some more research.

My little Grilla chimp holds temps perfectly. Love it. Similar size.

My portable traeger did not... it must be the controls have been refined n the newer models.
