My wife and I are visiting our new nephew who was born last week down in FL. Brought down some bbq for them and used some to make brunswick stew for dinner last night. Pretty basic recipe. I don’t have all the exact quantities written down, but this is normally what I I do (ingredient pick below). Also picked up some cornbread mix. Made a bunch so they would have leftovers and to freeze some up. Here is how I make it. Basically sauté up the veggies, add everything else in and then gentle simmer for about an hour :-D.

Mixing up some Krusteaz cornbread. Adding cheese to all of them and jalapeños to half

Ingredients for stew

Chopping up veggies

Random spices from their spice cabinet

Sauté on the veggies

Chopped up the meat

Adding in the rest

Here’s it all mixed before bringing to temp

Little drink

Here it is after bringing to a simmer and letting that ride for an hour or so

All done

That's a great thing to do for the family.

The brunswick stew looks delicious (and that cornbread!)...
