Blues hog lump charcoal

Is it just me, or does it have incredibly fast/short burn time?



I have to restock my coal bed for even smaller cooks, don't really have this issue with other lump and when I add any to fire, it is incredibly smokey.


It's pretty highly reviewed, but I haven't had much luck with the bag I bought

When I saw the title of your post, I was wondering if that's what it was going to be about because I bought a bag for the first time ever and used it in a competition and it seemed to burn faster than anything I've used up to this point and I was also thinking that it should not have burned that quickly. I'll be looking for other opinions on it.

I bought one bag and thought the pieces were just too small for what you pay.
