Been reading all of the Blackstone griddle threads. For anyone that already owns one, I am curious how hot does the surface temp get?

Not too entirely hot. The highest mine gets is 500, but really its around 400-450. I checked it with my thermoworks circle laser thermometer.

But it does get the job done and honestly makes it really hard to screw up for even the worst of cooks due to its lower temps.

I have no idea on exact temps actually, but I have had no issues with getting the temps I want for whatever I'm cooking. Most restaurant grills are in the 325-375 range. I pretty much just go by "feel", I was a line cook for many years, many years ago, so I have a good idea where to go with it.
