Conecuh in bulk cannot be beat! This is from a GA Walmart. $12 and some change for a 4 pound bag.

Another vote for Conecuh. Was in Mobile last week visiting my pop. Had to swing by the Rouses. Brought back about 20lbs...

Well after all the rave reviews of Conecuh sausage then learning I could pick it up 45 min from the house had to go to Bassham foods and get some. Pleased to say the hype was all true. Cooked 4# with supper and the family cleaned it up. Thanks guys

Unfortunately, I tend to pass through Lansing in the wee hours of the morning. I'll have to correct that, one of these days.

I hear ya dads. So close but so far away. I pass a number of the Detroit stores listed on the way to jobs but they are not in neighborhoods I'm willing to park the fully loaded work truck unattended while pick up groceries.

Seems they have a distribution gap in Macomb county

Plus, with Kolowski, among others, it's not as if we are suffering. It's just kind of like being a bird watcher, you want to fill in that blank in your list. When I'm in a new store, I always check out the sausage selections. One of the few things I miss about working in Pontiac, it was easy to slip down to Hamtramck.

In PA, ive found the best local smoked sausage, and kielbasa is made from a company called John F Martin. Its night and day compared to the bigger brands like hillshire farms, ect..ect.
