Won't even try to guess how long ago. Started buying this seasoning on 4ever3 recommendation. Not the easiest to find in a store, but if you do get you some.

Check health food stores. I find mine at a chain called Drug Emporium
Pharmacy, vitamins, some food, make up etc. I pay under $6 for small bottle. Unknown if Drug Emporium or Redmond sell direct.

I am a big fan of this stuff also. Use it on eggs a lot...scrambled, omelets, over easy, etc. Did some burgers with it tonight and was excellent. Have not tried on steak but will now definitely try in the near future!
