Yes, yesterday was cloudy, but Sunday when I did this cook it was raining and windier than all get out. (I live up on a hill, so that doesn't help). It was maybe 55 degrees. Today is Sunny and nice.

Count me as another that, once having tasted the wonder that is the smoked meat loaf, can never go back to the baked version again.

I think I may have one in the freezer....time to go defrost!

Well, as many briskets, butts and ribs as I've smoked on this pit over the years, I never would have thought the last cook on it would have been the meatloaf. But, the Pitmaker is sold. Now, I thought I'd be excited as that means tomorrow I order a new smoker, but I'm just a little more than sad. It was a great smoker, just didn't fit my needs anymore. Southern Q here I come....
