I had to clean my BGE's over the weekend as well, I guess I hadn't used them in quite a while. I just brushed it off, and fired it up.
 
I may just have to fly there and give you a weed burner to let you achieve full man status...... :)

My horizontal drum is molded again as well.

Phark Phu... How'd you know? :doh: So annoying! lol Well it's pretty much cleaned out now!

mold is caused by the humidity getting over 60% in the smoker. I like to leave the door/lid cracked open for a week to dry before shutting it up.

pressure washer or car wash. blast it, give her more veggie oil and use it. always get the cooker and more importantly, the rack up to temp before putting the food in.
