Tried Bear Mountains new Bold BBQ pellets on some skinless thighs tonight. They did not disappoint :)

275° for 1 hour, then jacked to 375° to finish.

YESSSS!!.. We love some gamebird for sure! I just ordered a new batch of SPOGOS, Secret Weapon, Beef & Pork Comp, Santa Maria, and Dominator! should be here friday and its BBQ time!
 
Those are skinless? They look amazing!
Is that just game bird, or do you have a base/finishing rub on them?

Skinless/boneless thighs. Liberal coat of rub, and a spritz of EVOO before they hit the MAK. That was it :)
 
Definitely going to give that a try!


They were still semi-frozen (half way thawed) which allowed them to hold their shape while applying rub and placing on the grill. Semi-frozen can be a good thing sometimes when dealing with boneless meat which tends to flop around a bit... lol.
