smoking a turkey breast. How long?

Not to long, be careful and do not over smoke, just use a small chunk or 2 of wood. Turkey takes smoke pretty quick. Do at 325º until the breast reaches around 170º.
 
5½ to 9 lbs = 2¼ to 2¾ hrs

A lot will depend on what temp you are going to run it at. What temp do plan on running yours at ?? I have an 8lb breast on right now that is running at about 285-290, I planned for about 3-4 hours but will check the internal temp at about 3 hours. Pics to come soon!!
 
Put an 8 pounder on at 9:15am, WSM's running pretty at 300 and the breast is at 114 right now at 10:40. Going to take it to 165.
Oh, got two big turkey legs on the top rack and some chirizo sausages to put on in a little bit. Was going to use them as appetizers with cheese to watch the Lions game but will most likely leave them whole to use to poke my eyes out while watching the Lions game.
