Sunday Spinning Shenanigans - Lamb (w/ Pr0n)

Lesson Learned:
- Higher indirect heat is a must. This means cleaner smoke (or general absence thereof). Chicken was great, but a little much smoke flavor on the lamb that overpowered the Naturiffic Lamb Seasoning. When we came back with a light dusting on a finished slice, the flavor was ridiculous (as expected). Lavender!? Who saw/smelled that coming!? Awesome.

Would the smoke profile be lighter with a different lump? Mesquite can be stout... Perhaps a hickory /oak blend would pair better with lamb.

The cook looks fantastic as usual:clap2:

The lavender is traditional with lamb and provides a slight floral note to the rub.

Glad you enjoyed it!

It's like we drove up from Wicken to Hunstanton, Norfolk, UK.... then came home for lunch/dinner.

I don't remember lavender on/with lamb before, but you sure took us back to our days of living in CB7 5XR (Wicken, East Cambs, UK) with the flavors of your lamb seasoning.

Thank you, John. Many happy memories received. Et Shado Sancti.

Those results didn't disappoint, and the fact that Munchkin cleaned her plate is solid proof! Nicely done.
