I'm just curious as to how many others out there have, or have had one of these cookers? I currently have the 20" model and I love it! Any other Okie Joe's out there?

I've had one (20") since the mid '90's. She has been very good to me and has been a trooper cooking tons of BBQ for my friends and family. I gave her a makeover last spring with new paint, spring handles, convection plate and charcoal basket. Even buffed out the brass plate on the front.

I have THIS OK Joe, but I don't think it's the same one you're talking about.....?

We have a small really heavy OK Joe offset. Not really large enough for comp BBQ and the fire box is rusting out. Debating whether to get it repaired.

I've got one here. It's a nice starter cooker IMO, but my eyes are wandering.

I will get a convection plate and a new firebox grate in the next few weeks to improve it for now.

I have a 9 year old 20"er also. I prefer the bbq that comes out of that over the UDS. The UDS is easier to use and gets plenty of time but I really like the offset.
