Have closed a deal on a slightly used Weber Summit Kamado E6. Problem is I have to carry it down steps and load by myself. I’m a cornfed thickboy, so pretty strong, but wondering how heavy these things really are? Don’t want to kill or injure myself. Can I partially disassemble?

Congratulations on your purchase. I can't answer your question but I can ask one: why didn't you just build a UDS?

EDIT: I did some research and it's 142 lbs.

They aren't that heavy, just a bulky and awkward to grab. Maybe step it down on the casters?

Congrats, love mine!

All the racks inside are a good chunk of the weight. I would remove all the innards first to lighten the load. You should be able to move it by yourself that way and heft it up into a truck bed.
