It' s spring time in Alaska and time for q'! I have a couple of tri tips in the bath at 130* for an over night soak, and also cooked up a big pot of French onion soup to go with what will be some tasty samitches tomorrow. I will grill off the sous vide tri tip on the egg and stack up the meat on some toasted sourdough bread for lunch tomorrow. Kinda my spin on a French dip. Maybe some horseradish sauce on the side! If the wife insists on vegatable component, I will drop a pickled green bean in my Bloody Mary. šŸ˜¬
 
Sounds delicious! Big fan of tri tip. And how I envy you your location! Was up there last summer...fantastic.
