Luckily the cook was over.... It got a good cleaning (Grease fire) but after it cooled I just scrapped it out....

I had a grease fire in my Bushrod smoker once----at first it was kinda cool to see how many times the temp gauge could go around----then it got ugly
 
I think someone should have tried to put the fire out by kicking over the smoker. Which would then start those rail ties on fire .. which would then start the house on fire. And lots of beer involved!
THEN you would have had a big fire.

Those greese fires are hot!
