Tequilla Shrimp tacos

Came down to visit my folks in Indiana for the weekend. My mom requested some shrimp tacos, so who am I to argue?

Prepped the marinade.



Mom has been having some trouble with her ticker, so this is a very low salt marinade.. Used about 1/2 a tsp



After a couple hours, dried the shrimp and skewered em. Put em on a screaming hot grill



Gorgeous night



All done



Tacos! Served with avacado, red onion, corn, cilantro, jalapeños, and some green Habenero hot sauce. Really good

Great looking dish. If I were you I wouldn't drink Cuervo Gold it is 51% tequila 49% other stuff. Gives a terrible hangover. Always look for bottles that say 100% de Agave.

I didn't drink it, I soaked the shrimp in it! I save the good stuff for my belly! :thumb:

She was happy, Ron. Thanks. Her appetite hasn't been that great, and her new dietary restrictions were bumming her out, but she killed a whole plate, so I'll call that a win!
