I feel like the name of the winning horse is an omen, calling to me to enter something. I get home Monday, and leave Wednesday or Thursday. Maybe I can pull something off.
But, can I beat a burgoo? Especially a burgoo with a mont julep.

Nothing says Derby like some good old fashioned gourmet party food. This gourmet burger was made with ~ 1 pound ground beef, custom shaped to fit a fresh croissant. It was topped with a healthy layer of sharp white cheddar, lettuce and bacon.
It was so good, that I'll have another.
That gourmet burger looks great, Gore!:thumb:
Just don't think you put enough parsley on it...:biggrin1:

Would it surprise anyone to learn that I, "once upon a time" got to drive my beat-to-fark '78 Buick LeSaber in the county fair demo derby?
I'll have to look around for a pic and scan it... was the best game of bumper cars I've ever played! :-D
