Don't know much about BGE's and never heard of Beacon but some of you might have so I thought I'd post.

For those who may not be aware of WOOT!, they sometimes have BBQ items come up in their TOOLS & GARDEN! section.

Sorry, like I said, I don't know much about these. My title was "Some sort" of BGE. I guess I should have said "Some sort of Kamado". I posted it cuz I read threads about this type of smoker.

Woot used to be cool. They suck since Amazon bought them.

Been seeing alot of these around. Looks like one of the Generic Made in China ones. Of course it doesn't mean its bad or good. They sold one similar like this in Costco earlier this spring as well. Looked pretty well made too.

I suppose the good thing is you can get a ceramic cooker for a lot cheaper. Not sure you'd get the same customer support as a BGE though.
