Fantastic short ribs cowgirl!

I do have to ask about the mustard. I've never even tried it on beef and only once on ribs where the recipe said you'll never taste it after it's smoked. I guess it was all those bologna sandwiches I had growing up but I could taste it.

Could you tell a difference using mustard on beef?

Thanks Toast, I don't use mustard either! Sometimes I can taste it and sometimes not... and I don't like the flavor it adds. If I'm going to brush meat before seasoning, I use bacon drippings.

This mustard mixture contained water, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce so it was fairly thin. I didn't taste it at all on the smoked ribs. Worked out great!
