I stayed well away from heavy sauce and tried to keep the focus on the actual item, the oyster, and was killed. Then again, I had 25 scores of 6 or under with many 4s. Then some 9s.

Who knows. The only person I blame is myself. The judges called them like they saw em.

My brothers oysters came in DAL and I would have to agree with you Clint.

I feel the same way, to a point. But when our oysters get 8's from three judges in taste and a 3 from another, that is strange. I definitely made some mistakes in the other categories that led to our dismal finish. It is a lot easier to shake it off because it was just a grilling contest, but if I said our results didn't bother me, I'd be lying.
