Welp sort of:laugh:

Gave myself a few days off and got up to the cabin to detox. Plan on cooking and posting until next week so stay tuned. :clap2:

Still a little bit of snow left

Got here yesterday and cooked me up a burger for late lunch

Realized I was out of mayo :doh: A little elbow grease and I made some since I had the essential ingredients

Pepper jack and Colby jack cheese

Thin patties and just about the perfect diner style burger. No complaints! :nod:

Today for lunch I decided on chicken and ground beef crunchwraps :clap2::clap2::mrgreen:

No thighs at the store when I was shopping and only chicken legs. No worries I decided to debone them

Sauteed some onion and jalapenos

Added the ground beef

Thanks for looking and more to come. :thumb::thumb:

Oh man....looking forward to seeing what’s to come the rest of the week. The opening salvo was :thumb:

I like shredded iceberg lettuce best of all for burgers...I rarely buy it though since that’s all I’d use it for.

Magnificent slumming it
Sudsy, iceberg is a fantastic finger food wrap, chicken pieces wrap

Thanks Suds! I agree totally on the shredded lettuce. Don't know what about it makes the take out or diner style burgers. Shredded lettuce and pellet ice make a burger meal amazing. :mrgreen:

Menu for the next few days in no particular order is:

Charcoal-grilled hot wings

Liver and onions

Chicken tortilla soup

Roadside chicken

Grilled cornish hens

Chicken stir fry

Filet mignon steaks

:clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2:

Life is obviously rough out West, Sako.

Looks like a magnificent start to a few days of decompression.

Fire in the wood stove looks toasty and warm. Enjoy, brother.

:laugh::laugh: Thanks Marc!

Feels good to finally isolate myself. Oddly enough I was looking forward to this while most of the country or the world is trying to get out of it. Back to the grind next week but until then it's "Miller" or more like "Macallan" time.

Still plenty chilly here especially at nights so the pellet stove feels guuud!

Thanks brother!

Hey! I want a farkin crunch wrap! :hungry: :becky:

Oh and a burger too. I thought we were eating pretty good here, and we are, but I gotta admit a little envy!

Rest, relax, recharge, brother! And post! :clap2:

Thanks Greg!

Pretty sure you're doing great buddy. Give the crunch wraps a go. Super easy to do and pretty sure the fam, especially the boys will love it.

  • Thanks

A week at your cabin and I would be to fat and drunk to walk out to the car. They would need a fork lift, and a flat bed truck.

:laugh::laugh:

Thanks Whumpa!

There is a trail less than a 1/4 mile from here so you'll work everything out before you know it. Unless we quarantine and don't leave the cabin for the week. That's a whole another story. :thumb:
