I have a red maple in backyard that would like to cut down and remove. Whats thought on using this would for smoker?

If anyone in NE florida area would like haul it away let me know. Ill cut it down and into sections and you can keep

I use red maple here in South Florida for smoke wood whenever I can get it. Usually it has a bit milder smoke flavor than apple or hickory with a little bit of sweetness. Goes well with chicken, pork, and fish. Nice for guests who like just a light touch of smoke.
