Phunny thing is that this was a more US based event with brisket,pulled pork,ribs and chicken.
They had to fill their turn in boxes with green stuff like the US standards.

Over here we normally have categories:chicken,certain fish,certain cut of beef,certain cut of pork and dessert.
There are a few rules attached to a certain dish like:you have to use a certain beer with the pork or add a certain syrup to the dessert.

I hope Noskos will chime in cause he recently went to a KCBS(?) course here in Holland.
Now he's a certiPhied judge if I'm correct.

Sounds interesting. I know sometimes with anything but they'll have chicken wings or something that uses bacon and it's sponsored by the provider of the meat. One we went to they did steaks. We ate well that night as did the judges.
