Need Help Selecting Safet helmets!!

I'm a real novice mig welder .. and I used the hood that came with it. I couldnt get the headflick thing worked out properly and always moved a bit sometimes sparking up well away from my target , so I just held it all together with gloved hands and pulled them away real quick when it sparked OK. Then I got a new set of gloves and an auto darkening hood. Its got delay and shade level and works wonderfully, now I can weld inside without having to put spotlight on it so I can see before starting like I used to do after burning through a few fingertips and outside in daylight it is just a dream.
