This was fun comp, they had us packed in a little tight, but it was ok. Congrats to everyone who walked. Jim and the All Day Smoke team and the Motley Que team were awesome!!

It was great to finally meet Michiana Mark, and let my son help him and pass on all of our "secrets" !! Great job this weekend!!

It was also good to see our "old Friends" Ford, Larry and Sue (Pork of the North), Troy (Extreme Roasters) Devon (Down Home BBQ), and Jim from All Day Smoke.

Now I need to talk to Silver Lake and make sure our spot is in between Bavarian Smoke (Great Job guys!!) and Ford, it has been good luck 2 comps in a row, or is it the 9:23am shot ??? Hmmm....

Thanks Dick, we are looking forward to Silver Lake. I also need to give a shout out to SFisch and Brcue B, they came out and helped us this weekend and it I am glad they were there!! Escpecially when we all did our team shot Friday afternoon, I will never forget the look on Scott's face!!

Good to put some faces to the names this weekend. Had a good time as always. Finished 11th overall, just ahead of the Rub, Smoke, and Sauce crew, I think it was.0002 points ahead. Will be in Silver Lake, with the new owners of my Gator Pit. They asked for I one time demo at a comp. Jim from All Day Smoke said I had to go anyway, because he GC's when I'm at the same comp. Hum???????????????????????????:-D

Yeah, what a blast! Like Mark said putting some faces to names was really nice, people of all ages from all walks of life hanging out having a good time with the common denominator being food is pretty awesome considering the trials and tribulations of life as it is these days.
