How about a plastic owl above the grill?

Put a pan with moth balls inside the grill, once you clear out the mice. (Try some smoked, yum!) It will help keep them from coming back. Refresh as needed.

My neighbor left his WM Brinkman unused for half a year, and when he got back to it, the entire inside was rusted out due to mice. Flame tubes, grates, everything. That urine has a powerful effect on everything but stainless steel!

you think duct tape is going to stop a mouse:shock: they chew holes in my gas lines in the mower and gas tanks.

The duct tape will hold them in there long enough to get the weed burner out and fired up.
