LOWES Pellet Sale? yMMV

20# Mesquite Pit Boss Pellets $5. We have two Lowe’s about 5 miles apart. One shows sale one does not.

Have never used Pit Boss pellets. How do they stand up next to Lumberjack or Bear Mountain?

It’s been quite a while but I remember they worked fine in My Davy Crockett. I tried a boatload of different brands finally going mostly B&B towards the end.

I bought 3 bags when I purchased my CH5, all from Walmart. All 3 bags of Pit Boss hickory pellets had a lot of dust and fines. I ended up having to sift them out before loading the pellets into the smoker. I have not bought any since. I don't know if the dust and fines are the norm or the result of rough handling at Walmart. Either way, I only use Lumberjack or B&B now.
