wow, I have never even heard of those.
Im gonna give these a try. Anything has to be better than those junk Maverick ET-73s that I have.

the NU701 is better built than the et-73...IMO. Good thing is you can use the probes for both. I like the et73 6ft probes cause I have a vertical and the extra length helps sometimes. But..I get pretty sick of the wires regardless and use my thermapen. Getting to the point I know the temps of the meat and the times it takes.

I have two of the nu-temps and one reciever. I can only use one of the probs though as the second one came not working, and like a dork I have no clue where the reciept is. That and I have waitede way to long now to do anything about it. Good themometers though, helped me get longer naps durinig comps.
