Decided to try making pork butt burnt ends after a post on them this week so while I have the smoker fired up might as well load it up. I went ahead and cubed up the butt to get maximum rub and smoke coverage. We will see how it turns out. Rump Roast is going to be for French dip sandwiches.

Butt cubes with Simply Marvelous Spicy Apple.

Ribs with Spice Bandit Original and Spicy Apple.

Rump with Montreal Steak, toasted onion powder and roasted garlic powder.

Wings with Oakridge Habanero Death Dust and Stockyard Apple.

Going to be a great day!

Wings off. Going to crisp them up on the grill for lunch tomorrow. Put the pork cubes in some apple juice to keep them moist. I'm just winging it here on these. Put the roast in some beef stock with garlic, onion, mushroom and red potatoes.

All looks awesome! Can’t wait to hear how the pork burnt ends turn out. Looking some up myself next weekend.

Also put 4 fresh jalapenos out the garden on to smoke and dry for barbacoa in the future. They smell amazing and add great flavor to things.

Such a wide and delicious variety. That is a great way to spend the day. Hopefully everything turns out to your liking with the winging it part.

You all will be eating good for awhile, nicely done.

Sorry I didn't update this. My dog had what we think was a stroke that night. Luckily he's recovering fine. Burnt ends turned out really good. My wife loved them. Worth doing for something different. Ribs were awesome. No wrapping is the way to go for me. The roast was good, but rump doesn't do near as well a chuck for French dip sandwiches. It's too lean so of course lacks the flavor.

Glad to hear your dog is recovering well. So the burnt ends, do you have an approximate time and temp? Obviously it all looks great! How are you holding up from meat sweats :p

Same bro. Our pup is 11 and went from walking 1-2 miles a day last weekend to can barely put weight on her left side.

One good thing about CoVid; my wife is working from home a lot, combined with the pup starting to walk better we should be good.

Boneless pork butt; never had good luck trying to smoke it; had better success putting it in the slow cooker and finishing it in the oven for carnitas.

Food looks great
Poor pooch, but they do just get on with it.
You can feed me anytime

I smoke everything at around 275. As far as time I want to say about 6 hours. With what was going on that night I lost track of time.
