This was cooked on the gasser but I liked it. Had a lot of flavor.
I cubed some lamb, drizzled with olive oil then sprinkled with smoked salt and cracked black pepper.. added a little bit of rosemary.
Cubed some veggies... tatoes, onions, turnips, parsnips, carrots...
drizzled them with oil, seasoned and let them grill. Tossed to cook evenly.
while the veggies grilled I started my stock pot. sautéed more onions, garlic and seasonings...thyme, rosemary and parsley.
added beef stock and the semi-tender grilled veggies..
I saved the lamb for last. Wanted them to be tender and pink in the center so I gave them a short grill.
added the grilled lamb to the pot, gave it a quick stir and it was ready to serve.
It was kinda tasty. Next time I will give it a try on a charcoal or woodburner to see how much difference there is.
