Judges scoring

If they didnt have enough judges wouldnt it of made sense to have all the tables be 5 judges so it was consistent for all the teams?

That would make too much sense.

I recently competed in a competition and judge # 6 in 3 catagories gave all 0's, does this mean there was only 5 judges at that table. we received high scores from the rest of the judges.Any one have any insite for a new guy?

Not sure if this has been brought up, At any contest I have judged and there were not enough judges and they could not get anyone off the street . The table captain would do double duty and the rep would table captain. I don't see how you could not have 6 judges and have it be an even scoring contest.
Unless they did not throw out low score at the short table and did a coin toss in case of a tie but that still would not be best for all involved.
