I love peppers. Looks great! Did some the night before last and some tonight with homemade pastrami.
Just as I expected, GOOD!
It seems certain times of the year, like now— Jalapeños have a politeness to their Scoville Heat Units. Large smooth skinned absent stretch marks are a good bet for ABT’s. I mean there’s some heat but it’s the heat that makes your neck and ears warm, perhaps a glow under the eyes—not the heat that rips out your tonsils and blisters your palate.

Since 11-1-2016 I greatly reduced “normal” bread. I’ll go weeks sometimes months without any type of bread. I keep Ezekiel bread and muffins in the freezer and the times I want fresh it’ll be sourdough, French or Italian etc. I made a version of cowgirls bacon bread a while back. I. Devoured it. I’d probably trip scales up 100# if I ate bread daily.
I’ve found the trick to Ezekiel —muffins or bread is a good butter or drizzle of olive oil. I’m not perfect at avoiding the other breads, but I try
